Chat Customer Service Reps - Remote / Virtual - TX
IntelliSource is hiring for a Customer Service Representative to work remote/virtual. The Corporate office is located in Colorado. This position will primarily offer chat support to customers, handle inbound calls as well and make some outbound calls. Must be a quick typist and able to multitask. Must have the capability to work from home (computers, headsets and necessary supplies provided). Must be able to work on the weekends as the center is open Monday-Friday from 6:00 am- 8:30 pm MT, Saturday from 7 am- 3 pm MT. Come join our growing team! Must be flexible 40 hour a week work schedule.
Knowledge and Experience:
- High School Graduate or GED / Formal education or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year / 2 Years Preferred Call Center environment experience with end user guests or related work or educational / training experience.
- Typing must be 25 WPM or more.
- Hospitality Industry experience preferred.
- Proven guest service skills, including effectively handling challenging guests and sensitive information, with consistent professional conversation and post conversation task follow through.
- Technical experience with general internet navigation and Microsoft Office Suite, browser experience with (Internet Explorer, Google, Firefox and Safari, plug ins, Window an Mac operating systems and some PC hardware issues.
- Excellent guest service and English interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication English skills
- Technical understanding of PC/MAC computer usage and web technology
- Attention to detail, accuracy, troubleshooting skills and independent judgment
- Ability to research, using internal resources, to assist in delivery of appropriate answers in a timely manner.
- Ability to understand the needs of the users and how to communicate the technical terminology to them in a non-technical manner.
- Ability to communicate, at a high level of English proficiency, to all levels of end users and internal Vacation Rental’s staff, via phone, email and chat in a professional manner.
- Ability to deliver a high level of guest service.
- Ability to remain even-tempered with user dissatisfaction
