Customer Service Rep/ Telesales - Work From Home

Safety Coordinator is an opportunity with an organization whose mission is to make a difference in the lives of children and their families with their unique and effective educational safety materials. They have reached millions of children in communities across the United States and Canada with important, relevant information about safety.

Safety Coordinator would be responsible for working with a local organization in the assigned community to secure necessary financial support for the educational resources that would be distributed to the local families and children. Safety Coordinator will contact the community’s businesses and Service Clubs to secure financial support by making 125-200 calls per day utilizing a high effective 30-second scripted presentation.

• Review warm lead lists to promote appropriate client’s safety guides

• 125+ calls daily – calls are tracked through internal system for KPI/Metrics

• Be knowledgeable/comfortable in regards to the safety guides available - Drug Safety, Personal Safety, Fire Safety and Rural Safety – and focused on assigned projects

• Ensure quality and positive interactions by following the appropriate scripts, building/maintaining rapport by following CSN’s process, accurately taking payment when support is confirmed and ensuring strong partnerships/brand representation with community members

• Excellent command of the English language – oral and reading
• Previous telesales experience would be considered a strong asset – able and willing to follow specific 30 second scripts
• Strong discipline and structure to thrive in work at home environment
• Competitive nature and motivated attitude – selling cycle is immediate so commissions are paid out right away
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications
• Working knowledge of PCs and accurate keyboarding skills
• Professional and pleasant telephone manner
• Can have flexibility in shifts but aware that many businesses/community partners are primarily available during daytime hours
• Able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
