It has an expanding portfolio of more than 1,370 hotels in operation and under development, a global footprint covering over 110 countries and territories, and a powerful set of global brands: Quorvus Collection, Radisson Blu®, Radisson®, Radisson Red, Park Plaza®, Park Inn® by Radisson and Country Inns & Suites By CarlsonSM We are seeking a Revenue Optimization Specialist to join our team in supporting the revenue management of a set portfolio of franchise hotels. In this role, you will create, consult, train, and implement recommendations and action plans for a specified hotel set. This is done through thorough analysis of the following areas of revenue optimization; rates, segmentation, reservations, brand websites, group/negotiated business, GDS and on-line travel agencies (OTA’s). This role can be based anywhere in the USA, preferable in the Central or Eastern USA. Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred. Key responsibilities include: Analyze weekly data made available from Tableau, Opera PMS, STR, Hotelligence, Omniture, SNAP and other reporting tools. Create weekly Demand Analyzer and implement recommendations and action plans to optimize hotel RevPAR and RGI Growth. Compile weekly market analysis of competitive set, partnering with Carlson regional partners (DD, DRD, DRS and HS) and serve as hotels’ liaison to brand partners and vendors. Utilize SNAP data, consult daily with hotels in market assessment of competitor and market rates. Create and implement recommendations and action plans to optimize hotel revenues and RevPAR. Analyze and determine market segmentation using all data source available, ensuring optimization of placement on all distribution channels and generate reports and recommendations consistent with company policy and practice. Establish relationships with all OTA Market Managers and act as the liaison between these vendors and the hotel to help drive revenue growth to the hotel. Partner with the hotel’s Hotel Specialist (HS) and Data Content functional area and assist in the maintenance of the hotel data base, consult and assist the hotel in implementing an effective layout, content management, and distribution of the hotel database on a monthly basis. Ensuring that the hotel’s webextra site is updated with any changes as well. Provide ongoing coaching and training to hotels in successfully utilizing revenue tools created by Carlson, such as, RCP, SNAP, e-Standby, Demand Marketing and any other future tools created. Ensure hotel participation in all brand promotions set forth by each brand. Monthly reporting to hotel specific District Directors (DD) and Revenue Optimization Directors.
