Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
• High School diploma; college degree preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Must reside in the state of Michigan
• Must have current Life & Health Insurance license
• Proven discipline and self-reliance to work without direct supervision
• Proven, successful sales skills
• Must obtain licensing in all states in which Gerber Life conducts business
• Motivated by ability to earn money
• Ability to follow a customized sales process
• Strong phone and computer skills
• Willing and able to adhere to procedures, rules of conduct in a fast paced inside sales environment
• Able to learn and retain new information quickly
• Life Insurance sales experience preferred
• Call center experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings, some Saturdays and some Company Holidays
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to attend approximately three weeks of on-site training in Fremont, MI
* Must have a workspace large enough for a telephone, two monitors, docking
station, mouse and keyboard (equipment provided by Gerber Life)
• Must have a quiet isolated workspace free of distractions
• Must have a high speed internet connection that once tested, will meet the data and speed requirements of Gerber Life Insurance. Satellite and 4G internet
providers are not eligible
• Must maintain or be able to acquire a dedicated landline work phone
Representatives work 40 hours per week with shifts ranging from 8–10 hours per day. Contact Center is open Monday through Friday 7:45am to 9:15pm and
Saturday 8:45am to 5:15pm
