This position is in a phone queue (call center) environment. the position requires excellent computer skills, data entry while on a n active call, knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes, excellent telephone etiquette skills and communication skills.
HOURS: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. M-F - Working from Home after in office training at 635/75 Headquarters
Assistthe UM nurse with non clinical tasks by sending
Lackof information administrative non-notification Letters
MailingUM education material to members
FaxingAPS with HIPAA memo to provider(s) as directed by the UM nurse
Createnew notification as directed by the UM nurse
Obtainprocedure date confirmation and hospital attendance and discharge specifics
Obtainsdiagnostic test results/reports and link clinical reports to the applicablecase.
CreateTask using the task procedure in CTE to advise the UM of received clinicaldocument
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent . Previouswork in medical or healthcare arena preferred. Through knowledge of ICD-9 andCPT Codes
